Ogery has sent me more products to review than any other brand, and not only have I given each of them a positive review but I still use all of them every time I head out in the van. Driving around in a van can be a bumpy adventure and all of their products have lasted the test of time. Ogery’s retooled F11 fan is no exception.
Ogery recently reached out and sent me the latest version of their F11 fan. The differences are so slight that unless you already own and use the F11 on a regular basis like I do, you probably wouldn’t even notice any change. The new fan seems to be a little quieter and the battery seems to last a little longer, but other than that it’s the same as the original. Just a little better.

One thing I’ve learned over the past several years is that no matter what type of camping you do, whether it’s in a van or an RV or in a tent, space is always at a premium. I’m a big fan of multi-use devices, and the F11 certainly meets that criteria. It’s a fan, a light, and a power bank al in one.

The base of Ogery’s F11 camping fan is actually a 20,000mAh battery. It’s actually a pretty ingenous design as not only does it add functionality to the fan but it adds weight to the base, preventing it from tipping over. All the fan’s controls are located on the front panel with easy to interpret icons and blue LEDs to show you the settings. In the middle of the panel is the on/off button which is also a dial, allowing you to easily and intuitively control the speed of the fan. On the right you have the oscillation button that allows the fan to move back and forth between 30-120 degrees, and a timer button that allows you to turn off the fan after a set amount of time. To the left is the LED light control (three brightness settings) and a nighttime button that turns off all the blue LED lights for those light-sensitive sleepers.

The back of the fan contains two USB ports and a convenient slot for storing the remote. The USB-C port is in/out, allowing you to charge the fan and charge other items. The USB-A port is out only and can also be used to charge items. The remote is small, simple, and functional. Every single option available on the front of the fan can be performed using the remote as well. The remote has a pretty good angle and only needs to be pointed in the general direction of the fan to operate. As someone who loses remotes more than socks, the storage slot is a wonderful addition.
As a boy who grew up with central heat and air I can honestly say that sitting inside a metal van in the middle of the summer can be a miserable experience. Sometimes a breeze is all it takes to cool the van down, and the F11 is perfect for that. The handle on the top makes it convenient to carry around and the bottom contains a flush-mounted hook that allows you to hang the fan just about anywhere.
Like I said, when it comes to vanlife and camping, the less items you have to lug around the better. Ogery’s F11 isn’t just a fan, a light, and a battery pack — it’s a great fan, a great light, and a great battery pack. You’re not sacrificing anything by buying a product with all three of these items combined; instead, you’re saving money and space.
