I can’t say if this is the best video I’ve made for Big Rob’s Van so far, but I can tell you it’s my favorite. And was the most fun to make.

I’ve never liked the idea of those magnetic key holders people attach to the underside of their vehicles, but I certainly have a greater appreciation for them. Maybe I’ll just start carrying a spare key in my wallet or something.

My workshop is well insulated with spray foam on the walls, but it doesn’t have central heat or air. The back half of the building is framed out and finished and has a couple of window-mounted air conditioners, but I never added anything to the front. Those space heaters work “eh” okay. They’ll heat the immediate area you’re standing in, but the room is simply too big (30’x20′) for them to heat the entire space, and ultimately heat rises so there’s that.

If you’re wondering to yourself “well, couldn’t he have…” the answer is probably yes. Thinking I might have died maaaaay have been a slight exaggeration. There are two pizza places that will deliver to my house and I have a dozen friends of speed dial who would have come to get me. Sometimes, it’s more fun to hang out with friends… even if they’re idiots.
